I'm still working my way through OG VM rewatch, but does Weevil actually get stuff to do this season?

I'm still working my way through OG VM rewatch, but does Weevil actually get stuff to do this season? He gets 2 scenes, pretty much. But he did some good acting in those scenes. I hope they give him more if this show gets more seasons. Also....so so spoilers for the fourth season, but I just saw this and will post here.... SPOILERS |

I found I enjoyed each episode as I was watching, but when I thought about it as a whole later though they made a lot of really stupid plot choices.

I have very mixed feelings about this season. I thought it was a pretty good mystery, as far as Veronica Mars goes. But the way the season ended and Rob Thomas's quotes about it have made me realize that he has a completely different idea about what this show is than I do. So, I'm not entirely sure I'll watch any subsequent episodes.
