At this point when I hear it pronounced "Shahn Been" it sounds wrong to me.

Sean is the only real spelling of the name—“Shawn” and es poor chalky “Shaun” really look wrong to me, and I’m someone who usually can’t make heads or tail of Irish names.

At least according to this Welsh government website, "Sian" is their spelling of "Jane". I had no idea. |
