Djse's witty November moniker, nowimnothing, and 2 more like this

The other day the subject of Twin Peaks came up in the Shoutbox, and Djse's witty November moniker suggested that the TI do a TV club thing for the show. As it happens, I'd been planning to start watching Twin Peaks myself, and I offered to create a thread for this purpose.
So, here's the provisional plan:
1) Every week on this thread we'll discuss an episode or two of Twin Peaks. I might consider making an initial post at the start of the week with a brief synopsis of the episode(s) watched, but basically the plan would be to watch the episode(s) and then have the week to discuss them.
2) I suspect that if we get a significant amount of participation here, there will be both people who haven't seen Twin Peaks before (I've only seen the first three episodes myself), and those who will be rewatching. If you want to discuss plot developments that haven't occurred yet at the point we've reached in our collective viewing, I think it would be most considerate to put those in spoiler tags (which just involve putting the word "spoiler" - sans quotation marks, of course - in square brackets to start the tag and then "/spoiler" - again without quotation marks - in square brackets at the end of the tag).
3) I would assume that, unless this thing peters out, we'll also review the film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, and Twin Peaks: The Return.
4) According to a brief Google search, in the United States the original run of the show is legally available to stream on Paramount+, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me is available on HBOMax and the Criterion Channel, and Twin Peaks: The Return is available on Showtime. If you know of anywhere else the show is streaming, let me know and I can edit this comment appropriately.
5) We'll start in January. For the week of January 1-January 7, we'll be discussing Season 1, Episode 1: "Pilot". In the future, we can collectively work out how many episodes to watch per week, but since the running time for this first episode is 94 minutes, I figure it'd be best to start out with just the one for the first week.
If anyone has any suggestions for this thread, feel free to let me know. Other than that, hopefully a few people will want to join us for discussion of the pilot in January.
