Is it just me (and one other person) but has Firefox really started sucking lately? I know there’s been concern about bloat for a long time now, but I never really felt it. Recently, though, Firefox has been really sucky on iPhone. It gets very slow, quasi-freezing for a couple of minutes especially when I’m typing in a search (trying a search, then a while later seeing a burst of typo-ridden keywords in the bar). Some websites just take time to load, or only load as far as you’ve scrolled. Other just little juggling things. It also just really heated up my phone which is not something I like, especially when all my tickets and such are on there (okay I’ve got to hand it to your paper-ticketing ways GumTurkeyles). I don’t really need to use Firefox for iPhone—it’s built on top of Safari anyway, and while there a couple of ergonomic reasons I use rarely use it to sync across devices (one of the big benefits, supposedly). But I like Firefox philosophically and I just have a natural affection for it, having used it for literally more than half my life now. I haven’t had any trouble on desktop, but a friend on Linux has had a lot of troubles with it and considered abandoning it there. Is it’s time coming to an end?

Lemur, if they made a new Netscape, would you consider switching to that?
