I think Jupiter by Cave In fits the theme for this month as an indie record that led to being signed by a major label. We can consider the ingredients in the riff soup that piqued the interest of the big wigs and contrast the space rock stylings of this record with their shapeshifting past and future sounds. They're the best band.
WORRY is the best album there has ever been, I'll keep nominating it whenever I can cram it into a poll until it wins.

I don't know a thing about the band other than an old interview where they said they worship Radiohead, which is good enough for me.
