Look, I’m not pretending to know the answer to this question; Iglesias seems like a nice enough guy and recording an entirely inoffensive song about your religion or about driving your car and smiling a lot or whatever is certainly a more productive and positive way of spending his spare time than the, I’m assuming ~80% of MLB guys who fervently believe in some sort of QAnon-adjacent conspiracy theory. All I’m saying is like if there was a version of WAR but for musical artists, Jose Iglesias’ music WAR would definitely be worse than his baseball WAR, right?
