I'm travelling again Wednesday, so here's an early shuffle starting with my favourite track from the band I'm going to see, then random from there:
VNV Nation - "Art Of Conflict" (Had to use this video mix, as it features Max Headroom!)
Rage Against The Machine - "Sleep Now In The Fire"
Tori Amos - "Hotel"
Jill Tracy - "Extraordinary"
Sunn 0))) - "The Gates Of Ballard"

Mark Lanegan Band - "Riot In My House" (not my favorite off that album, but a strong start to the morning, all things considered) Beastie Boys - "Bodhisattva Vow" (whoa! Blast from the past!) General Patton VS The X-Ecutioners - "AWOL Block Party Brawl 0800 Hrs" (meh) Imperial Teen - "Hanging About" (oooh, poppy!) Bjork - "Cocoon" (okay, this album is something I only listen to in the wintertime, so clearly my ipod understands the seasons are changing and it's safe to play something from it now)

I was going to say this in the Selfie Thread, but you are very, very Ann Arbor. Hey, I have two of their albums and I’m nowhere near Ann Arbor! Ha! Tell that to my councilfolk (it beats being very, very Baton Rouge, I can tell you). I do remember watching Mark Duplass's The Puffy Chair and being jolted when "Alcohol" came on the soundtrack; had no idea they were so well-known nationally (from what I remember, Fred's a really nice guy as well as talented, so pretty well deserved).
