Fucking Ravens, making my desperation play of Forsett a healthy scratch last minute during a heavy bye week for my other RBs Honestly, I'm surprised you didn't hear me shrieking in despair from your house. I can't believe we fucked up that game so fucking bad. Ravens, I am disappoint. Mwahahahahaha!

Man, that Vikings D! I feel like Minnesota is going to need to start paying Gary Anderson to just lurk outside US Bank Stadium before games to keep people from getting their hopes too high. I thought that was Blair Walsh's primary job?
That said..... YEASH the Giants' O looked pretty lifeless out there.

I'm surprised the Vikings D has been this good, Denver levels of good. They definitely have a shot at the playoffs and I can't wait to see how Bradford fucks that up.

I've got the 2, 3, 5, and 7th ranked runningbacks all on my team. Sort of tempted to ship one off (probably Hyde) for a WR upgrade, but eh. This can be combo fantasy and regular football thread, I reckon. Here's my team in a 12 person league. IDP leagues are fun. Also .5 PPR supremacy.

The Packers having an elite run defense is weird.

Saints had their second-best week of the season this week, so that was a bit of a relief.

The NFL's top rushing team goes up against the NFL's top rushing defense this week.
The Packers are giving up less than 50 yards a game on the ground and every game they've played has been competitive, so it's not like the other team is being forced to play catch up while Rodgers goes super sayan.
The Cowboys are averaging over 150 yards rushing each game.
SHOULD BE FUN.

I'm kind of bummed the Vikings are on a bye this week and I can't capitalize of the momentum of getting Owl Jr. to say "Mom, nobody else here even likes the Packers" last night.

(Also I really need to learn and put hunter henry in, def started the wrong Charger last night)

I want to buy a new bootleg Vikes jersey but I can't decide what quasi obscure but likely to stay with the team a while guy to get. My Visanthe Shiancoe jersey is pretty tattered

I think last night's color rush was the only one that didn't suck.
Also, in uniform news, the Packers are wearing their throwbacks. I love the Acme Packers throwbacks so much. These aren't as good as the 1920's ones that they wore a couple seasons back, but still really cool.

Seems like the guy had a rough week or something because the whole article was...uh... I don't think I would have minded it nearly so much if he ever admitted that the Patriots and Bill Belichick don't walk on fucking water, but as far as he's concerned they're perfect and how dare anyone accuse them of being the cheating fucking cheaters they are. And Tom Brady whines more during one game than Harbaugh does in a season, for christ's sake.

Should get a Böhringer just for the umlaut. Munnerlyn. And wear it with a sailors cap, so everywhere you go people will just nod or point and exclaim "It's the Captain!". Alternately, if you can get it customized, LOTHBROK would be all kinds of awesome.

Tom Brady never whined after a loss to get a rule change like the time the pats beat the ravens in the playoffs and harbaugh was pissy about the o-line strategy used by belichick.

I've come to the conclusion that the Packers are bad, Aaron Rodgers is broken, and Eddie Lacy looks hilarious when he hurtle a man and I want to give him a cheeseburger for each person he hurtle.

The Cowboys are for real. Dak Prescott is for real.
Too bad that Jerry Jones wants to flush that all down the toilet after the bye week by bring back Romo.

Yesterday's game was so fucking depressing. We had Eli Manning shit-scared for an entire quarter and then we just blew the whole goddamn thing.

6 games into the season and it seems like 5 of the divisions are already down on lock. I would say 6, but the Ben injury complicates matters just enough. But honestly, are NE, Minny, ATL, Seattle, and Dallas really going to lose their division this year? Barring major injury of course.
The NFC south is a complete shit sandwich after ATL. Palmer is like the palmer of old. He was always good, but never best QB in the league good, last year was an aberration. Stafford seems better than rodgers at this point, so Minny just needs to split with GB and they should take the division crown, and with their D they should do it this year. NE is NE. And Dallas is great with Dak at QB, Romo right now at least is the better of the two and Dez Bryant isn't even playing right now, the NFC East is crazy, but Dallas is by far the most talented team in that division and Elliot is great right now.

Roger Goodell is trying to find the reason for the NFL ratings drop, guess he hasn't tried the mirror yet.
While he hasn't singlehandedly ruined the NFL, he is easily incompetent at his job. His focus on "player safety" is nothing but one big transparent PR move that has been going on for years. Instead of trying to really combat CTE or ease up on the workload of the players(one or two less preseason games, or hell one or two less regular season games), actual concussion protocol that fucking works, and etc.
He openly supports owners screwing over the fans with all these new arena deals.
He keeps trying to expand in London, but only has the shittiest teams go there to get their asses kicked.
He spent the better part of two years trying to suspend one of its most popular players for something that was negligible at best on the actual outcome of the game. A missed penalty on a TD play has more impact.
He tries to stomp out individually of the players in support of the brand, even though what is a big part of the NFL's success has always been eccentric players.
Constant of dumbass rule changes, hell we don't even know what is really a catch sometimes.
Color Rush Jerseys
There is more to it than Goodell, but he is clearly the driving force behind most of the NFLs problems. Mix it in with the fact that it is a violent game that people are finally starting to realize the true impact it had on players, as well as a lot of football culture being fucked up. Of course people are going to stop watching.
