The road I drove down just a few hours before, now under a torrent of rushing water.

An appliance box, presumably empty, being blown across a busy street, at speed, somehow without hitting anything. It was moving so fast I thought a car was dragging it at first.

A rough-looking redneck guy walking quickly and with great determination through the Aldi parking lot, carrying a white ferret.

The Appalachian mountains As an Appalachian American, I think they are incredibly beautiful. The land of my ancestors.

A peddle party. A group of about 10 people on a vehicle that is made up of bicycle like peddles that are connected to a table and there was a radio.
They were cycling through the streets singing Mr. Bright-side at the top of their lungs.....I ended up singing along as I walked down the street.

A bird in a tree. Poor birdie. The wind was about 40mph. This bird has built a nest in a tree branch right outside my living room window. There are now two more little birdies in the nest with her. This branch was being blown around quite a lot today.
Hope they're all okay.

An old style horse and cart, parked up a lane, the owner combing the horse's tail - maybe even braiding it, I didn't like to stare.
A dog by the name of Ernest.

Went to go rearrange the backyard, and when I picked up the tarp for the grill there was a palm sized scorpion underneath. I had a reaction of 'oh neat' but the primal fear instinct slowly crept up on me, so I involuntarily did the sperg hand curl, twist of the legs and hips, but thankfully didn't screech.
This is probably the third time I've seen a scorpion (not in a zoo or pet store), and the others were dead / from a distance. The most notable was in my (north Utah) childhood home when we found one squished in the track railing of the screen door. People in the neighborhood had them but for some reason we were scorpio free (another thing we didn't get were raccoons).
Anyways I felt bad for disturbing it, because it looked pissed, with it's random tail stabbing and pincher flaring. The hardest part of the whole ordeal was keeping the dog away because she loves eating bugs, and when she gets her mind on something it's hard to hold back her 90 pound frame.

At the supermarket this morning. Rather than take his items out of the basket and place them on the conveyer belt one at a time, the chap behind me preferred to upend his basket and let everything fall out in a heap. The woman on the till and I exchanged a look. I was amused in an 'isn't that fucking terrible' way; she was not amused in any way.

A car with two of these... I thought it might be a joke sticker at Trump's expense, since it looks like his hair is fucking the Republican elephant but as I got closer to the car I saw a Trump : Make America great again sticker towards the bottom.

A riger, a cheetah, three lions, both kinds of pandas, a sloth bear being fed meal worms, and a bunch of other animals (I went to the National Zoo).
Also a gay couple, holding hands, one of whom was wearing an eggplant emoji tshirt, which I found a little crass.

You know how in movies and commercials, there's sometimes a guy in a suit, with a briefcase that's opened up and there are papers (more papers than seem like could fit in the briefcase) blowing all over the place, and the guy has to run around picking them all up while more and more papers blow past? And you think to yourself, "That never happens in real life"? I'm here to tell you it does! I saw it, outside, this morning! (In a median of a busy road that never has pedestrian traffic. WTF?)
