I don't think pictures ever really prepared me for how utterly ridiculous these things look in person. I saw one for the first time parked at the Ren Fair a couple weeks ago with the vanity plates "LOLZ". The thing is just absurd. And bigger than I thought. But I guess it is a "truck." It's a minivan. |

I saw one parked at the Indian restaurant we went to yesterday. Don't know if it's the same (steel colored) one I've seen elsewhere around town. There's also a dark gray or black one I've seen a couple of times. |

I saw Jill Biden's cavalcade (is that the right word?) today - police motorcycles, local police, state police, several large black Ford SUVs, an ambulance (??), and a few other cars. She was speaking in Durham and another close-by town. They must have been running late because they were really moving getting off the highway.
