Do you like the midi from the GBA Pokemon games? I think they're not offensively ugly like the Genesis soundfont but they're probably unfitting for the kind of music Pokemon tends to have.

Do you like the midi from the GBA Pokemon games? I think they're not offensively ugly like the Genesis soundfont but they're probably unfitting for the kind of music Pokemon tends to have. The horns from Ruby/Sapphire get a lot of flack, probably because listening to the soundtrack in full quality and not on a GBA makes it sound a bit silly, but I think FireRed has a great soundtrack. Personally, I prefer Gen 4 music, where they started adding the Seinfeld porn bass |

Katamari Damacy, followed closely by We ❤️ Katamari, which has a couple of songs that require knowledge of the previous soundtrack to fully appreciate.

To elaborate I've been replaying XD and whenever Miror B shows up I'm struck by how much worse his theme is than the rest of the battle themes - even the throwaway ones for like the colosseums.

Better than any theme for a Fantasy RPG(looking at you Skyrim). Criminal they removed it for the Dark Arisen update.
