Okay, I've re-watched the pilot of The Greatest American Hero, and I'm gathering my thoughts. I'll try to post a review by Monday. Possible tagline for the forum: "Who could it be?"
I'm not good at long-term commitments, but I should at least get through season one, because it's very short.

I'm interested in doing classic Law & Order (up to season 10 at most, but probably less than that) and Legend of Galactic Heroes. One a week for the former and two-at-a-time (except for the movies) for the latter. I'll try to do first reviews for both over the weekend and see if one is obviously easier than the other, but I suspect I can handle both (L&O particular I've already analyzed the hell out of), so tentatively put me down for those two and I'll let you know more.

sharculese Ah, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, now there's a great choice. Also putting you down for both.

sharculese Ah, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, now there's a great choice. Also putting you down for both. Sweet. Now that I've thought about it a little, I'm gonna start on the first L&O tonight ("Prescription for Death" is not the most complicated episode) so I can hopefully do that on Mondays and LoGH on Fridays. I'll keep you updated. As for LoGH, question for anyone who's familiar with the series. Normally when I watch it, I do Overture to a New War in between My Conquest is the Sea of Stars and the series proper, but I'm not sure how new viewers would feel about that. Anyone have thoughts?

sharculese Overture is essentially a remake f the first tree episodes anda bit better than them, IIRC, so it is understandably difficult to place. Also I will set those forums up. Also, if you have quotes beneath the forums you want to use let me know. I'm leaning towards 'Another page of galactic history is turned.' for LOGH. Also,

Yeah, that's why I was unsure whether to go ahead and do it, since I'd essentially be repeating material. I think I'm gonna skip it and then do it at the end.
That's... a much better idea than what I had for LoGH, so use that. For L&O I was thinking "We overanalyze drama." since, like a lot of people, I absorbed most of the early years of the show as reruns on TNT.

Firstly, I will totally read @odduck 's reviews of Burning Love! Everybody should watch that! I've only watched it once, a long while back, I'd love to go back through it with Mr. Duck.
I finally had a look through AVC out of curiosity, I could swear I remember them covering Dead Like Me but I guess they didn't. I've never written review material before, but there's a chance I might not suck at it. If there's any interest in that, I've got time on my hands for watching and reviewing.

Douay-Rheims-Challoner - Sweet! Looks like I've been approved? I guess the tag thingy in the DLM box should be 'Reaper Madness!' (There's probably something better but I've been up for 24+ hours and cannot think one up at the mo)

MissBeaHaven Your board is up. And the only criteria I ask for a board to be put up is a commitment to give it content in a timely manner, simply because I do not want many empty boards cluttering up the site. This is why I have yet to give myself a board, I have been busy with other commitments.

The following 12 words are presented without any further comment, but...
Jesus, do I feel like I should start reviewing WKRP in Cincinnati.

If I wrote about "Phineas and Ferb," how many people would read it? I'm asking because not a lot of people are reading the reviews of "Due South." I would love to write about "Phineas and Ferb," largely because it's easily accessible on Netflix but if there's not an audience, I won't write about it.

Confirming: Columbo reviews will begin in four weeks. I'm getting myself super prepared! Not sure if you knew, or if anyone told you (or if it would even change anything), but Franko did Columbo reviews on WoT on AVC fairly recently. Do with this information what you wish.

The entire show (1968-2003), but I did it in a "Thoughts On" style, so short comments and appraisals, plus the occasional bit of trivia. If you have the time, I ran from Aug. 1 to about Sept. 15. either way, I'm sure your approach will be good, and the show's strong enough for another pair of eyes.

But with the redesign, it took so long to even find a TI post in that time frame, and then once I finally found one I spent so much time hitting end -> page up -> "Load more comments" -> repeat without finding any mention of Columbo, and then Disqus got tired of me and stopped loading the comments, that I wasn't able to read 'em. But I am doing TV Club-style detailed reviews of each, with stray observations.

Hello, Hello.
I've been dying to find some comprehensive reviews of some cult classic cartoons of the late 90s early 2000s, and I've come up a little short. SO I figure I wouldn't mind creating my own reviews if people are interested in reading them. I'd like to start with Samurai Jack. What say you, @douay-Rheims-Challoner?

All Right All Right, intro thread is now up in the Samauri Jack folder! I was aiming to get the first review up tonight, but I think I'll have to move it to Sunday. Animation fans, I recommend you watch the show, whether you follow the reviews or not!
