If you'll permit a slightly off-kilter plug, one of my best friend's dads is Mr. Tom Wilson, known to many as Biff Tannen from Back to the Future and Coach Fredericks from Freaks & Geeks. He has a podcast that's quite bizarre and similarly pleasant: Big Pop Fun Podcast (http://www.nerdist.com/podcast/big-pop-fun/).
He's got interviews with F&G friends and other showbiz folk (including a 3-parter with Mr. Mark Hamill). He's also got songs. And stories (my favorite is about why Gary Busey is the worst famous person he's ever met).
Plus he's an all-around chill guy who's more regular-person than "show-biz" person.

The Andy Daly Podcast Pilot Project You Talkin' u2 to Me? Let me tell you a story about Johnny McGorry, who once listened to a podcast series and loved it so much that he wanted to make more of 'em. But the artists stopped making 'em, so Johnny thought, "I'll make them do more, just for me!" So he booked a plane ticket for Los Angeles, but he got selected for special TSA screening and the TSA agents found the cocaine in a secret compartment in the heel of Johnny's Converse All Stars, so Johnny got thrown in prison. Instead of listening to podcasts, every day he listened to grown men cry. Then, uh, he met a leprechaun who gave him a pot of gold! And that's the story of Johnny McGorry.

The Andy Daly Podcast Pilot Project I really hope it comes back for another season! Me too! I'm not sure it will, though, because from what I understand he mostly did it as a creative outlet while he was waiting for Comedy Central to air Review (which was apparently delayed). I feel like he could do another season eventually if he wanted to, though. What was your favorite episode? I'd go with Dom Dimello or August Lindt.

I must say I'm a Chip Gardner man myself, but Dom DiMello comes in at a close second. My third would be the poet laureate of the West, Dalton Wilcox. I think I should give August Lindt another chance...

If you like MBMBaM, you should check out Sawbones, the podcast that Justin McElroy does with his wife Sydney about medical history. Not as funny as MBMBaM (few things in life are), but surprisingly informative. Sawbones is great! I've been going through all the episodes recently because I hadn't been keeping up with it well, and I love how Justin ad Sydney interact. Each episode just makes me want to hang out with them someday!

There was one moment that made me laugh harder than anything on any of the other podcasts, but I won't spoil it here. Dalton Wilcox was awesome as well. I assume you probably have, but if you haven't you should definitely check out Daly's album, Nine Sweaters. He plays a different character on each track and even though there is some overlap in characters between that album and the podcast, it's still pretty much brilliant throughout.

It's not that, it's the fact that so much of it isn't new. We got Werner Herzog (getting pretty tired) and Ratzinger, again... not a new thing. I didn't know Nine Sweaters existed! I'll go buy it right now.

What was your favorite episode? I'd go with Dom Dimello or August Lindt. My favorites were probably Don Dimelo (whose name has been retconned to having two L's) and Patrick McMahon.

Yeah, they have great chemistry, which isn't exactly surprising since they're married, but I totally agree that they'd be excellent people to grab a drink with.

The only podcasts I listen to are WTF and Monday Morning Podcast. I feel like WTF's greatest days are behind it, but it's still worth listening to, and you should definitely check out the back catalog, he's done some of the best interviews in all of podcasting, in my opinion. Monday Morning Podcast pretty much depends on whether or not you like Bill Burr. There's no frills at all, it's just him talking somewhat off the top of his head for an hour every week, so the quality really varies, but if you like Bill Burr, then you'll like this. I don't think he can carry a show the way Ferguson does, but Maron might be able to do as good a job on the interviews. I'm still kinda holding out for Aisha Tyler. Or Norm, although I think he'd bail eventually - he was good on his sitcom, and surprisingly good natured in the commentary tracks. Other than comedy podcasts, I only listen to Magic: the Gathering related stuff. Mostly Limited Resources, Top8 (which covers a lot of basketball, too) and Monday Night Magic. This probably doesn't help, but I wanted to post something relevant.

Any Comedy Bang Bang with Paul F Tompkins or James Adomian is gold. Seconded. Honestly, if it doesn't have one of those two, I generally don't bother to listen. I know a really awesome podcast about Survivor, though. It's called The Purple Rock. Very hipster. You've probably never heard of it. Nick Kroll, Andy Daly and Bret Gelman are all pretty good guests. Weird Al, too, although he's not on as often. And St. Clair, but only when she's Wompler.

Celebith what do MtG podcast typically talk about? Different shows focus on different things. Mostly strategy and current metagame stuff. LR focuses on draft, Top8 on constructed and MNM on general community stuff. There's also Judgecast, which is about rules interactions and questions, which I forgot about. There are a few on the financial aspects of things, and a bunch of other strategy ones, mostly hosted on mtgcast.com, but I don't listen to them as often.

We were driving when they got to the child fighting ring (if I'm remembering the episode correctly), we were laughing so hard that I had to pull over.

I listen to: Now Playing as well as the other bad move podcasts Books and Nachos (book reviews) Hardcore History (commentary on history) NPR's Tell Me More (news and social) WHYY(NPR)Radiotimes (news and social) Mental Illness Happy Hour (sometimes depressing (interviews with people who have been abused in some way) Black Girls Talking (pop culture) The Champs (interviews w/ celebs and comedians) I just started listening to hardcore history because of you and kinda love it. But how can he talk about WWI for six hours with out stopping or even sipping water? I am impressed.

I don't know how I started listening to The K Ohle with Kurt Braunohler, but The Boat Show is fantastic. After you skip the intro, it gets into a hilarious improv session about boating with some excellent guests. Now I'm gonna try Pet-O-Philia too.

The Wrath of Khan series is pretty impressive too. I guess GRR Martin got a lot of inspiration from the Khans. Geez Louise, those guys liked to rape.

Top8 Magic podcast (http://manadeprived.com/listen/podcasts/top-8-magic/) is recorded live, usually at a coffee shop on Gay street in Manhattan, by two guys in NYC who have a) been involved in MtG basically from the start and b) really love basketball. And Young Justice, although that's off the air so they don't talk as much about it. So they really talk more about 'Magic' and 'Bball' and less about 'Magic and Bball', although sometimes there's more of an intersection than others. All that being said, their baskeball commentary seems pretty well informed, so if you're only interested in that, you could troll the archives to find ones that focus more on that game - they're pretty upfront about how much basketball talk there's going to be.

Time Bobby 3? I'm kind of sick of Fievel... The first one worked because it was unexpected, and it was an order of magnitude funnier than the second (at least, based on how much I laughed at each). It would take a lot to get me to listen to part 3, and I (eventually) listen to just about every episode of CB!B!.
