Speaking of Jim Treacher (that was on this thread, right?) there's a guy over at TOC called Pod Bay Doors that is giving me some major flashbacks. Short answers, always getting the last word, completely dismissive to anyone who doesn't agree with him. I don't go there as much as I used to so whatever, and there are of course plenty of unpleasant people on the internet, but I couldn't help but think of him since we we're recently mentioning him in relation to Lobsters.
This may have been on Shoutbox I'm suddenly realizing. Anyway, enjoy!

You know, I have no particular love for Kanye West, but he genuinely seems to be struggling with mental illness and is potentially bipolar. Instead of outrage I'm going to hope he and his doctors can get his medication sorted out and help him get his mental health in order.

Do people not realize that the thing they hate about him - his tendency to say outlandish or offensive shit - is, at this point, clearly a symptom of a larger issue? I mean, in the same concert where he endorsed Donald Trump, he expressed the belief that Jay Z was going to send people to kill him. The Cosby tweet makes a lot more sense in retrospect, too. The idea that 50+ women would lie to bring down one man is, well, paranoid. Which is what he was hospitalized for. |
