That seems like it was probably a frustrating loss. The Kansas loss was also frustrating, for very different reasons. Hard not to watch them blow a 10 point lead in the fourth and not be frustrated. None of those drops or even the late interception were killers by themselves, but you just knew they'd already gotten more out of that defense than they should have expected. |

I'm trying not to get too excited right now as ive watched this team for years but man... tough not to look at how we're playing compared to how our upcoming opponents are playing and get a bit optimistic

I still don't have ESPN, but games like UGA shutting out Tennessee today 41-0 (at Tennessee) today, plus the fact that Verne Lundquist isn't laughing it up on CBS anymore, is going toward dragging me back to college football.
Also pointing out that more than 75% of Georgia's roster is actually from GA, 90% from Georgia or border states. It's still a college team, not professional. Yeah one quarterback is from a far-flung place, but the one who's currently racking up points is just some kid from Warner Robbins.

This was a good night for #Pac12AfterDark.
We had ASU with its terrible D hold UW to 7 points in one of the most WTF games I've seen from ASU in recent years. This game included some great examples of terrible college placekicking.
Then we had a jackrabbit score a TD in the Stanford-Oregon game, complete with Stanford blowing the TD horn.
This is why it is so fun to live in Pac-12 territory. You just never know what you'll get. Apparently we're getting a conference that doesn't want to participate in the playoff!

My sister is a sophomore at UGA now. I don't think I can explain what it means to not just beat but shut out Tennessee and Florida in the same season. (Whoops, once both teams put in their backups, FL squeaked through to make it 42-7.) When I was in college, the last time GA beat both of them they also got a national championship. Before I was born.
