It's not changing at this point, so here you go. First and middle will be: Jameson DaleDale is also my and my father's middle name, so that's where that comes from. Thank you to rando for naming my baby. (And for the record, I know at least one really cool Phil.) That is a great name. Unusual, but easy to remember - and, more importantly - easy to spell. And there are a few different nicknames you can use if you want, too. My dad's name is Phil. He's not cool at all. I love him anyway.

I'm checking the SSA data right now and there were well over 3,000 baby boys named Jameson last year. It's super on-trend, being a surname that sounds like Jason, but it's not as popular as Mason or Jackson (and somehow, less popular than the linguistic abomination that is "Jaxson")

I am a baby name nerd and have spent more time than I'd care to admit combing through the SSA data, shaking my head at the 6,000 families who every year saddle their spawn with the name Nevaeh. Nobody knows the troubles I've seen, et cetera, et cetera.

Better name would be "Krv" which is Croatian for "blood". Very metal. I would caution against treating a name's metal intensity as the preponderant index of success in this particular endeavour.

FANGIRL. EXCITED. I might have shrieked right the middle of the TG&Y like any 14-year-old worth their salt. Thus began my long and storied history of having massive crushes on actors/characters who do not lend themselves to marketing. *I don't understand why. Every other one of my teen-aged crushes I can understand even retrospectively, but that one....not so much. I need to re-watch some old S&S to see if I can figure it out.

Of course, I also have had a crush on Jackie Chan, and they are in no way comparable! But the heart wants what it wants, right?
