I'm pretty sure Lupin is the King in Yellow, I don't even know why we ask ourselves.

Another good piece on the symbolism of the show here - I hadn't actually noticed how Pastor Theriot's name is one letter away from Therion, meaning Beast... and part of Crowley's preferred version of his title of The Great Beast, The Master Therion. 93/93, bitches.

Is anyone else getting preemptively depressed that this is ending? We live in a world where the McConaughey has an Oscar, nothing can be depressing in that kind of world!

Is anyone else getting preemptively depressed that this is ending? I'm nervous, because once again it seems like there's alot to tie up. Is it a longer than usual episode? Like, say, three hours?

It certainly seems like they have three hours of story left, which doesn't bode well for the one hour final episode. I am also nervous.

What is there to tie up? There's just the one case that they are trying to solve. They already have most of the info. That can easily be concluded in an hour.

Oh for crying out loud - please can someone tell me Rust's last line in the show?!?!? My husband was TALKING - divorce papers will be filed in the morning. "I love you Marty. I always have." Seriously though if my memory is correct he said something along the lines of, "The light's winning."

"Don't ever change" *mutual middle fingers* perfect Oh for crying out loud - please can someone tell me Rust's last line in the show?!?!? My husband was TALKING - divorce papers will be filed in the morning. I had a hard time hearing it too, but I think Polar Bears got it right.

Yes, I loved that. Just enough of the weirdness for me - especially if you view Rust's journey as his ordeal and initiation in Chapel Perilous. The only thing that gets you out is love and surrender. And yeah - as far as I'm concerned, there's a missing epilogue where a few months later, the newly-renamed Hart and Cohle Agency has a visitor... a British man, bald, in a nice suit with a blank badge on the lapel.
