I'm going to a wedding next month and I have some passable dresses but I'd like something new. I'm kind of feeling a kelly or jade green for the occasion. My price range is $25-50. But all of my old go-to websites for clothing are either defunct or resembling some sort of warehouse clearance sale now- Delia's, Alloy, Victoria's Secret. Amazon had nothing but ugly bridesmaid-knock off looking crap. Any suggestions for cheap, stylish dresses online?

I looked at ModCloth and didn't see much that was under $100, which sucks cause I like their style. I forgot about Forever 21 though, thanks!

I was shopping online for capris, and found a "boot-cut capri". Why in the world would you do that? That would mean that you would have a flare around mid-calf, which is not a flattering place for your pants to flare out. I mean, seriously, boot-cut? Even if you wore knee height boots (which you would never wear with capris), it would still look stupid. I have been stymied in my online hunt for new cropped boyfriend jeans to replace my old cropped boyfriend jeans, which are disintegrating (attractively, but the fatal tear is forthcoming)... and I keep running across the G-D boot cut capris in my internet forays yeah, it's stupid, but it shows off your ankle strap platform sandals or whatever. it's all just a plot to show off ornate shoes. that's all I got.

Serious and Important Question:Should I shave my beard off or nah? Why, because it's hot out? I'd say do it if it wins you points with Mrs. Batman, otherwise nah.

I'm thinking of coloring my hair again. Right now it is 99% white and I get compliments on it all the time. But I was looking at some old pictures of me the other day and man, my hair looked good when it was dark! I'm thinking of a temporary or semi-permanent color.

Here's what I bought for the wedding. That's right. It was $14. I'm pairing it with tan suede wedge sandals that are sky high. I know it looks short but keep in mind the model is probably 7-10" taller than me.

But I was looking at some old pictures of me the other day and man, my hair looked good when it was dark! I'm thinking of a temporary or semi-permanent color. I cannot wait for the day when I'm comfortable letting my hair go white. As I've said before it grows in really bizarre patterns and any time I've tried to let it grow it has just looked super weird and ugly. When I get to the "fuck it" stage I'm letting it grow in and dying it weird-ass colors. I saw a lady who had to be in her mid-60's or early 70's the other day and she had short rainbow hair. I was like, "yeah......I'm gonna be you someday". I'm still passing for 32-35 these days and I'm gonna ride that out for awhile. Other than 25 year olds trying to date me, it's pretty cool.

Wedding dress is in! The shape is pretty superb. I sized up for the boobs, so it's a little too big everywhere, but still very flattering. I am not looking forward to dropping dough on the underthings and whatever, but I love this dress. I will love it even more when it doesn't show my bra. The fabric feels so silky and it's substantial enough that I can't see every skin fold beneath. Photos don't do it justice. www.pinupgirlclothing.com/ava-white.htmlI'm sure you will look gorgeous in it. (And I like that site!)

Aerosoles will be more comfortable, NYT are cuter/edgier. Time to prioritize! I have to try them on either way, see if they rub anywhere or if my fat toes fit

Cute! I did really like the Pewter. I actually can't wear shoes like that because I have a wide foot and a high arch - it makes things very difficult. (Plus I can't wear heels because as ridiculous as it sounds, I get vertigo.)

I think the swimdress is more flattering because the pattern continues all the way down. I really like the retro shape!

My current swimsuit is actually fairly similar to that swimdress, but a one-piece so there's a crotch underneath. Separating the dress from the bottoms would definitely be an improvement.

I'm giving Minnie a California makeover when she comes back from Chicago. Should I get her the standard floppy wide-brimmed hat, or wide fedora? I can't tell which is currently more fashionable, though the former is more popular on the site, slightly cheaper, and going fast.
