It's really sad over there right now. Funny, too. And exciting in a sticking-it-to-the-man type of way. But seriously it's sad, and to Hell with Univision for making them switch to Kinja. I'll never watch "Sabado Gigante" again.

Welcome to Kinja, where design and usability are items #4951 and #10243 on the priority list. So true. While web design is part of what I do for a living, I've never considered myself to be particularly adept at it. That being said, that design is fuck ugly. |

I can't believe my comment/upvote ratio is higher than pastafarian's. Feeling rather bittersweet about my most recent (last?) exchange with Arundel, wherein we expressed our fondness for each other. Lord knows when or if they'll see my reply, since I don't have instructions to 'transfer' my account or whatever. This is really a mess so far.

There was a wonderful philosophical/gameplay discussion on the recent Gameological article about "Bioshock." It's nuked, and who knows if they'll put in time to bring them back in. I doubt it. The only way to read that good stuff is to skip the AV Club in favor of Disqus. So it's come to this... I prefer "Disqus" to "The AV Club." |

Question for anyone who went the Kinja/Discus route: does it effect your Discus account in any way, or does it just pull some info for creating the Kinja account?
Not that it matters. I remembered that I switched from AV legacy to Discus about a year or so ago because the legacy account kept logging me out and I finally got fed up with it. So I can really use either to get a Kinja account.

There WAS a final Reasonable Discussions, and when I went to refresh it about half an hour ago, everything went kablooey. So I now have what I guess is a burner account that I can hopefully link to my old AVC-only login. Very exciting  (I have a disqus account as well, I guess I can try linking that at some point.)
