I mean there is some straight-up hipster nonsense going on here, and WHY are the yards around here always so HUGE but otherwise I am suuuuuper into it.

I’m doing a slow-motion redecorating and ~40-45" tables (indoor tables) are surprisingly hard to find. One would think a Parson’s table (basic, square, undecorated) would be something easy to find but it seems to be impossible (well, maybe not on Amazon but as much as I like my one standing lamp from there I do not trust them for anything beyond that). I found a perfect-seeming square table of different—better—design but it’s ~24"! When fucking Knoll’s the closest that I can find that’s pretty bad.

I’ve got some new, quality chairs from my mom (reducing the amount of stuff in her house) and they’re darker, less reflective, and more angular than my old ones, and I’m feeling they’re kind of out of place with my current white tulip-style table, which I’m kind of tiring of anyway. It looks like that’s where I’m going to end up again—maybe eventually I’ll get a black one.

OBSESSING over this house.

Not only is it a perfect little house to witchify, it’s WAY too expensive for the neighborhood, it has no central heat/air, listing terms are cash, and the property tax somehow LEAPT from about $800 to $4000 between 2022 & 2023 what the actual fuck. It’s not a tony neighborhood y’all; it’s one of the weird pockets within OKC where you can look like you’re deep in the woods although the literal interstate is two blocks away. And the area on the other side of the interstate are not the greatest - the zoo, a RACETRACK, kinda run down other neighborhoods, no shops & whatnot super nearby.

It’s two streets from a place I used to house sit when I was a teenager, & it’s never been developed out AT ALL from what’s already there what is HAPPENING I’m so deadly curious.
