What music has been tickling your fancy lately?
I've been going on a Fiona Apple kick, and now I own all her albums. I've been watching the videos for these songs the most.

Oddly enough I've been relistening to Albert Hammond Jr.'s older stuff (well, 2007-2008). Some good arrangements although he's neither strong at singing nor songwriting. Still, a few good catchy hooks.

I've also been listening to a lot of Fiona Apple. I never really go looking for videos though so thank you for uploading the one for Paper Bag.
I also currently have on a loop Liars:
Dark Dark Dark
Some old school Rolling Stones
And Man Man, because always Man Man:

As opposed to the shuffle thread--which is always fun--this is a thread about what album or song you're listening to at this exact moment.
Original Cast Recording of Falsettos (specifically, March of the Falsettos)

The chatter of various groups of people, and the hum of a large refrigeration unit. I am doing schoolwork at a coffeeshop (not exactly at this moment, mind you, but I will return to it presently).

Lots of loud motorcycles and other vehicles. This is the time of year in Arizona where it's perfect weather to have all the windows open, but it's also the time of year when every asshole gets out their Harley and rides it everywhere. When combined with the usual loud vehicles (cars with obnoxious mufflers, giant trucks that totally aren't compensating for other shortcomings), it's rather annoying.

Marika Hackman, Standard Fare, and I'm about to start listening/watching the new Parks and Rec.
EDIT: Also! Edith Frost. My month long cycle of listening only to sad bastard music has ended. For the next month I'll probably be listening mostly to c86 bands and singer-songwriters.

My "Fall Moods for your Earholes" shuffle. The specific song right now is "I Started A Joke", the Faith No More cover.

The restaurant I'm in has fucked up priorities: ABC news loud on the TV, and Springsteen's "The River" on low. youtu.be/Bjp9AFRAHlQ

Wake me up when you get to "Kids with Guns" I started with that one! I went through my Halloween playlist to see if there were any tracks I wanted to salvage out of it and that was one of them (recommended on this board I believe), so I wound up listening to the rest of the album.
