Steam sale has started. May god have mercy on our souls. I'll probably just wait for their Christmas time sale. Usually has the best prices. FYI Greenman is also having a sale right now, and Amazon usually does an assload of video game lightning deals right now I finally picked up Skyrim for $7.50

I got Papers Please and Rogue Legacy for like 4 bucks each. I won't play them for months, but I heard good things, so...

The thing stopping me from getting Papers Please is I know it's going to be in a humble bundle eventually, that's kind of inevitable.

I'm hoping the Playstation store has an online sale tomorrow. Gamestop is selling a year of PS+ for $30. You can only buy 2 of these but that is a great deal, 2 years of PS+ for $60. Gawdammit I just got PS+ earlier this month. I swear I should stay out of deal threads on US Thanksgiving.

Goddammit, Bioshock Infinate is $10 and Dishonoured is $7.50! I do not have the cash for a Steam sale!

I probably should have waited, but it's 10 bucks, not going to break the bank. You have to wonder if Humble Bundles are kind of a blessing and curse for indie guys because of exactly this. I know that I have yet to give over 8 bucks to one because I'm cheeeeeap.

I ended up ordering that Last of Us/Batman Arkham Origins bundle on Amazon last night because I was sure they'd be sold out of it at Best Buy by the time I got there (I never go earlier than late afternoon). Turns out Best Buy had a bunch of them on hand still, but whatev, I saved some money on the tax, though now I have to wait for it to deliver.

eldan does that also have the PS+ (I lost track of all the deals people were mentioning)? Either way, you will not regret it. In other news, if anyone wants a failed online friend, Enkidum is my name both on Steam and PSN. I don't really play much in the way of online things because I'm lame like that, but I dunno, I like to see what all y'all lazy fuckers are doing with your time.

No, that was the Uncharted 3 pack, but I went ahead and jumped on that $30 deal for PS+ that Beema was talking about earier, so that'll be ready when the PS3 gets here.

Expect to receive my friend request this weekend. Mostly I'm watching Crunchyroll so you won't see anything good if you stalk me on PSN. I'll take your Dragon's Dogma pawn for a spin when you finally start. For all others who want to join in, PSN: Armacen.

I've been binging away on the new Assassin's Creed and have been really enjoying it, great ambiance and regularly just damn gorgeous to boot even though my machine is getting slightly long in the tooth. I'm glad to see someone else enjoying AC:IV! It really is stunning, isn't it? I love when whales and shit just randomly jump out of the water near the Jackdaw. I love it less when my audio cuts out. Has that been happening to you? It started with the cut scenes -- all I'd hear is the background noise. Now I'm lucky if I hear anything! I've set the audio to the correct setting for the console, but other than that, I don't know what to do. It's really diminishing my enjoyment of an otherwise really awesome game.

Picked up Rogue Legacy on Steam Sale over the weekend. It ended up being an expensive investment for a game "on sale," because I needed a controller I could use on my PC to play it, so I had to get one of those too. Picked up a wired 360 controller for $30 at Wal-Mart at two in the morning, and the cashier at the electronics counter talked my ear off about Kingdom Hearts. Which I also love, so that was all good.
Anyway, Rogue Legacy is digital crack. I love it. I finally beat the first boss and felt fuzzy all over, but also disappointed that I couldn't re-engage him to farm his gold.
(Late to the party, I know.)

Yeah the sealife is really neat and I'm constantly humming most of the shanties at this point. I've thankfully not had anything like that on my end with the audio bug, but I recall other people mentioning it. A quick google search yields this and this, but it sounds like you've maybe tried some of those things already. Hopefully some sort of fix will roll about, it'd definitely be a shame to have to deal with it seeing as the rest of the game is so great as you said.

The Last of Us is pretty outstanding so far. Playstation Plus has some great games available for free right now, I finally got to try Hotline Miami, which is a lot of fun, though I like the whole aesthetic a lot more than I like the actual gameplay. They have Shadow of the Colossus and Ico for free to download, too, that's awesome. I'm really happy with the PS3 in general.

Does this mean we can FINALLY JAM SOME VIDS TOGETHER?!? FUCK YEAH!

I got Heroes of Might and Magic 6 during the steam sale so far... which just prompted me to play Heroes of Might and Magic 5, which I got in a gog sale months ago (newer game has Ubisoft's Uplay, that is fun.) As I said elsewhere, I enjoy HMOM5's mixture of Total War overmap and turn-based, Warhammer Fantasy-esque battle sequences.
And I'm thinking I'll just go ahead and get Age of Empires II now that's on sale. It's weird, I played that game religiously throughout secondary school but the idea it had a second expansion is something I've just learned. The scenario editor was gas, anyway.

For some reason, I have not jammed any games for a few weeks now, aside of a short Hotline Miami session, and playing some Half Life 2 again.
Battlefield 4 bums me out on PS3. Thanks EA for not giving a fuck about old consoles, and allowing bugs to ruin fun.
I am thinking about getting AC: IV, since I thought the ship battling part was pretty awesome, and I kinda like pirates again.
Either that, or Metro: Last Light, cause that game looks pretty awesome.
However, I think I am going to jam Conker's Bad Fur Day on the N64 all day Saturday. Make a really lazy day out of it.

Oh yeah, I'm TheElDan on there, guys! (whoever this other ElDan is, he's making things difficult for me!). Feel free to add me, and I'm stoked I might finally get to game with you, Mr. Capwne! Though I doubt I'll get GTAV for the PS3, which would've been ideal.

Well since we're giving out names and such
PSN: kamilumin Steam: kamilumin (though the display name is probably still "Ann Veal")
I'll add 3DS and WiiU later (does anyone even have a WiiU? Super Mario 3D World is fantastic by the way)

I'm going to visit pretty much every place Ezio stabbed dudes in Italy.
My dad said, "Oh, we should visit that town on the way to Siena, with the wall and the olive trees. What's it called? Monte-something?"
Yep. Montereggioni.

I think Hotline Miami is better-suited to keyboard and mouse, which might explain you not liking the gameplay so much. But it's still pretty awesome (I haven't got past the first couple of levels, but I know when I get into it I'm going to love it). And glad you're happy about your purchase - there's a deep library you're going to love getting into and it's only going to get cheaper as the PS4 begins to dominate. Craigslist is your friend!

I perpetually play games about 3 years after they're big. Currently I'm probably in the home stretch of Fallout New Vegas, playing the Lonely Road expansion (the one where you start in a silo). That expansion where you had to break into a casino was fucking horrible. I was just yelling "fuck YOU" at my monitor when it just kept going and going and not ending.

DrOddaffection on PSN. (I had to look that up cuz I've literally never used it.) I'd be down for Diablo 3, though all I've got is a level 20-something monk.

I really want Diablo 3, but I can't justify it when there's so many games I haven't played that I'm getting for free through PS+. I'm currently just getting started with Dragon's Dogma, and Borderlands 2 is free for December. By the time I get to Diablo, no one will be playing it anymore.

We could all do some Borderlands 2 once it comes out for PS+. It's basically Diablo 3 but with guns and guns and guns and guns
